- In her column for The New York Times, Linda Greenhouse argues that “[i]t is totally unacceptable for the N.R.A., desperate to hang on to its mission and its members after achieving its Second Amendment triumph at the Supreme Court four years ago, to be calling the tune on judicial nominations for an entire political party.” Orin Kerr has posted a response at The Volokh Conspiracy.
- The Project for Fair Representation has petitioned for certiorari in Lepak v. City of Irving, asking the Court to decide whether total population or voter population should be considered when assessing whether a district complies with the one person, one vote principle.
