On Monday the Court issued orders from the November 20 Conference.  The Court disposed of one case with a summary ruling; in another, it allowed a challenge to the Affordable Care Act to proceed in the Fourth Circuit. Lyle reported on those orders.  No new cases were granted on Monday, although – as Lyle previously reported – the Court had granted two cases from the November 20 Conference last Friday. We do not expect opinions this week.

The December sitting began on Monday. The Justices heard two oral arguments on Monday and one on each Tuesday and Wednesday.

On Friday, the Justices will meet for their November 30 Conference. Our list of “Petitions to watch” for that Conference is here.
