Changes to case page format

Marking the start of OT2012, the blog is rolling out a substantial change to the format of case pages, which we provide for all merits cases and petitions we’re watching.

Previously, case pages included a list of documents and a separate link to the Court’s online docket.

We have now integrated the two.  On each case page, you will see the chronology from the Court’s docket, with hyperlinks provided to the briefs in the case.  For example, the first entry in the Moncrieffe v. Holder docket is “Petition for a writ of certiorari filed.”  You can now click on that entry to retrieve the petition.

The docket entries will be updated multiple times each day.  We will add the hyperlinks as we are able to collect copies of the briefs.

We have transitioned the case pages for current merits cases to the new format.  We’ll be doing the currently active petition pages in the coming days.
