Yesterday, supporters of California’s “Proposition 8,” a ballot initiative adopted in 2008 to prohibit same-sex marriage in the state, filed a cert. petition seeking review of the Ninth Circuit’s decision invalidating the ban. At this blog, Lyle reports that supporters of Oklahoma’s proposed fetal “personhood” state constitutional amendment, which the state’s supreme court blocked earlier this year, have asked the Court to allow the state’s citizens to vote on that proposal.
