This week at the Court

On Monday the Court granted one case,  invited the  views of the Solicitor General in another case, and announced two opinions. Details are here.  Following orders and opinions, the Court  heard ninety minutes of oral argument in U.S. Department of Health and Human Services v. Florida, on the question whether the Anti-Injunction Act bars the Court’s review of the challenges to the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate.

On Tuesday  the Court heard  two hours of oral argument in U.S. Department of Health and Human Services v. Florida , on the constitutionality of the individual mandate provision of the Affordable Care Act.

The Court issued three opinions on Wednesday.  Following opinions, the Court will heard ninety minutes of oral argument on the issue of severability in National Federation of Independent Business v. Sebelius and Florida v. Department of Health and Human Services, followed by Court one hour of argument on the Medicaid expansion issue in Florida v. Department of Health and Human Services.
