After a busy day on Monday, leading to substantial press coverage on Tuesday, coverage slowed down today.
Writing for the Wall Street Journalâ€™s Washington Wire, Jess Bravin of the WSJ Blog reports on Justice Breyerâ€™s comments on the Holocaust as part of the National Days of Remembrance. Among other things, the Justice indicated that he came to the event, which was sponsored at the Capitol by the Holocaust Memorial Museum, â€œas a judge and a Jewâ€in part to remember â€œthat the Holocaust story ended with a fair trial.â€
On Monday, the Court denied certiorari in a a dispute over whether to identify students challenging a private school systemâ€™s admissions policy that gives preference to those of Hawaiian ancestry. A report by the Associated Press (via the Washington Post) is available here.
