I am incredibly humbled by the decision made by Governor Pawlenty today to appoint me to the Minnesota Supreme Court, see here.  In anticipation of my upcoming judicial duties, I informed Tom today that I must resign from the blog after more than three wonderful and stimulating years posting here.  I hope that my posts have helped build a bridge between the academy and our readers.  It has been an incredible pleasure to call SCOTUSblog home for the past three years, and I look forward to reading new and innovative content in the coming years.
