Live Q & A with author Jeff Shesol, April 9

Jeff Shesol, author of the recently released book Supreme Power: Franklin Roosevelt vs. the Supreme Court, has agreed to do a live chat on SCOTUSblog this Friday, April 9 at 2 p.m. Eastern.   As the title suggests, Supreme Power is about Franklin Roosevelt’s plan to “pack” the Court with more than nine justices.   For thirty minutes starting at 2 , Jeff will field questions on the book, and on this period in the history of the Supreme Court.   Readers will be able to submit questions in the live chat window, and someone from SCOTUSblog will moderate.

If you can’t make it to the chat online, we are now taking questions in advance, some of which Jeff will answer during the chat.  To submit a question, email elmiller@akingump.com.

Jeff is a former speechwriter for Bill Clinton and a founding partner at West Wing Writers, a political speechwriting company. For more background on Jeff and Supreme Power, see SCOTUSblog’s two-part interview with him last month.
